About me

Born in Manchester in 1984, I have been practicing art since I discovered felt tips worked on walls at the age of 4. I studied art throughout school and college, then gained a degree in Illustration from University College Falmouth, Cornwall.
I like to work in mixed media and enjoy working on varied surfaces, more recently taking to working on wood, or fabric. I'm inspired by a multitude of things, from social and cultural issues to fonts, flyers, fabrics, fables, retro Tees and Shakespeare. My work is predominantly figurative, communicating ideas and themes through body language, pose and human interaction, with the intention to make my work accessible to anyone. Strong characters play a key role in my images, which often depict my thoughts and feelings on life and the universe.

If you like what you see and are interested in commissioning a project, then please do not hesitate to contact me.
